Review: Bunn My Cafe MC Model Pour Over Single Serve Coffee Pod Brewer

The BUNN MC My Cafe Home Pod Brewer is a modified single cup pour over brewer with a reservoir refreshed with each cup you brew by adding from 4 to 14 ozs of water each time you brew. The Bunn My Cafe MC Model coffee pod brewer uses coffee pods and tea pods and features both a standard brew mode and a pulse brew mode for tea and darker coffees. The BUNN MC My Cafe Home Pod Brewer is also very compact and has a stainless steel exterior. Unlike the older Bunn My Cafe this brewer comes with one pod drawer for brewing that can be used for tea and coffee.

Revisiting the Bunn My Cafe Single Serve Coffee Pod Brewer

What can we say? It's been quite awhile since we had some article time with the Bunn My Cafe single serve coffee pod brewer. We love our Bunn My Cafe and still think it's one of the best coffee pod brewers available. We've had our Bunn My Cafe for over 2 years now with no problems, and we still admire the Jeston's like design, along with the easy pour over water top. The controls are also a breeze, and we like the fact there is both a tea and coffee cycle for getting the perfect coffee or tea extraction.

We've also featured the Bunn My Cafe in more coffee pod reviews than we can count. Why do you ask? It's a great machine and easy to use and we think gets one of the best coffee extractions out there using coffee pods. Review: Bunn My Café Commercial Grade Pod Brewer

Bunn introduced the Bunn My Cafe Commercial Grade Pod Brewer earlier this year, and as always we were excited to see what Bunn had to offer. Bunn has been making drip coffee makers since 1972. The big difference in their home machines is a heated reservoir that when you pour cold water in the machine, it displaces the hot water in the tank for an almost instant pot of fresh brewed coffee. Also the founder of Bunn coffee created the first coffee paper filters in 1957. So - if you have a company that has instant cup of coffee knowledge combined with coffee filter knowledge - surely Bunn would hit the nail square on the head with a Commercial Grade coffee brewer, and best of all they do.

Bunn My Café Arrives for Review

It's finally here! The kinds folks at Bunn© were kind enough to send us a My Café to review. We will be sampling all kinds of coffees and teas over the next week to run this commercial grade pod brewer through it's paces.

We've got it set up for a full run of Kona Pods for tomorrow morning, followed by a weekend run of Baronet pods for a comparison.

Bunn Jumping Into Single Serve Coffee with My Cafe

Bunn is jumping into the Single Serve Coffee craze with their My Cafe Professional grade brewer for coffee and tea. I would assume this will use a similiar pod system like Melitta or the Senseo - however - they do claim "professional grade" - and this makes me think there may be more to this machine than meets the eye.
