Tire Tread Mug Gets Your Morning Rolling

tire-tread.jpg

The Tire Tread Mug will get your morning rolling along nicely once it's filled with your favorite single serve coffee. We like the soft grip tread surface, and if we didn't know better we would have just thought this the perfect insulator to keep your coffee warm.

Play a Game of Tetris on Your Coffee Cup

tetris-heat-changing-mug.jpg

We like video games, and one video game we really love is Tetris. We could call this coffee mug the McDLT of coffee mugs, but we won't because that would be just wrong. This coffee mug when hot makes the Tetris game on the side move forward in time showing more of the game completed. We love the HOT version of the game because we all know when that long piece moves into place there's going to be some cleared rows.

Wake Up Coffee Cup

MUGG-1951.jpg

You know those mornings where you need to lift your eyelids with a forklift? Well - at least this mug's eyelids will lift every time you pour in some hot joe. Made from Genuine Porcelain, this coffee mug has both drowsy and highly awake eyes to remind you to get it started. This mug is not microwave or dishwasher safe which is a bummer, but then again some hand washing of your coffee mug might wake you up as well.

Tasse - The McDonald's Reusable Coffee Mug

coolmcdonaldscoffeecups.jpg

Patrick Norguet was hired by McDonald's to create a more eco-friendly alternative to its disposable coffee cups. The result is the Tasse, a ceramic cup wrapped in an insulating foam sleeve that helps keep the coffee hot, but prevents customers from burning their hands. The Tasse is only available in France, and McDonald's actually intends to give away five million of the cups absolutely free to encourage its patrons to switch from the disposable variety. The promotion could actually save the company money, and we hope they try the same thing in the US soon.

Le Creuset Stoneware 12-Ounce Mugs

lecreusetsoneware12ouncemug.jpg

The Le Creuset Stoneware 12-Ounce Mugs are made of high-fired stoneware, and have a non-porous enamel finish which resists odors, staining, chipping, and cracking. The curved loop handle makes for a comfortable hold, and best of all these mugs are both dishwasher-safe, and oven-safe up to 500-degrees F if you need to cook your single serve coffee a little more. :-) They come in a variety of colors from the blue above to a very warm red cherry. We have a variety of Le Creuset stoneware for cooking, mixing, and other kitchen stuff, and we're pretty sure these mugs will fit right in.
