Much like the Eco-Pod Reusable coffee filter for Senseo, the Melitta Padfilter gives you the freedom to use your Senseo (or Senseo pod sized crème machine) with all types of ground coffee in your machine. We like the fact the Melitta Padfilter has a hinge top along with what does in fact look like thicker plastic. We'll be getting one of these very soon and will have a full brew off between the two.
Simply fill the Melitta Padfilter, place it in the 2 pod holder of the Senseo machine and hit the coffee button! The Melitta Padfilters are durable, easily in use and dishwasher safe. Best of all it is made by a coffee company you know and trust, Melitta! The Melitta Padfilter is made better and stronger than the Ecopad or Quickcup. It also uses a patented hinged top that is easy to open, quick to close and you won't lose your pod top like you can with the Ecopad and Quickcup.
Note: the Melitta Padfilter cannot be returned, so make sure you understand what you are buying. It is made to fit the Senseo Coffee machine and may not fit other brands.

We've experienced the Ready Set Joe One-Cup Coffeemaker from Melitta several times over the past year. One on a trip to San Francisco where we had fresh roasted coffee made with it that was nothing short of amazing. The second time was on the side of a mountain camping up in New Hampshire, and more recently we got a present of some fresh roasted coffee and tried it out again. Good results always seemingly follow if you're patient, pour your hot water slowly, and then kick back and relax with the coffee.

Since single serve coffee makers like the Keurig B50 and the Senseo have the ability to use your own coffee, we've been trying to find something that would also eliminate the mess when doing so. It's also going to take a bit of precision to get ground coffee into the reuseable filter for the Keurig or the Senseo. The Zevro coffee dispenser allows precise measurement and dispensation. It stores over one half pound of ground coffee with an airtight seal that ensures maximum freshness and flavor. Your kitchen counters will remain clean and free of coffee grounds when making a perfect cup of single serve coffee.

This is an oldie but a goodie. If you're currently using Senseo Douwe Egberts Dark Roast Coffee Pods or any of their other blends that come packed in bags of pods, getting one of these coffee pod canisters is the way to go.
The Brabantia Stainless Coffee Pod Canister will your coffee pods fresh and ready to go in a snap. Inside the canister there's a convenient inner sleeve that allows you to lift out the coffee pods. We've been using this with our CafePods as well - as they come packed two pods to a sleeve and we often put the extra pod right into the canister.

Deciding to drink large cups of single serve coffee around your nice shiny keyboard just got easier. Designer Duck Young Kong has shown his latest innovation over at Yanko Design and it's called The Keyboard Food Tray. It's still in the design phase, so there is no pricing and information is limited. However we like the idea and can think of several keyboards that would have been saved had we had such a great innovative product.

We know that better water makes better single serve coffee and that's why we're exited about OGO. From the Netherlands - the homeland of the Senseo, comes OGO. OGO Water has an oxygen concentration that is 35 times higher than regular water. The burst of oxygen in each bottle of OGO will give your O2 saturation a boost and perhaps make your single serve coffee even better.
Available in still, sparkling, and Flower Power (lightly flavored with elderflower and lychee and maybe not great for coffee) varieties, it's sure to have the variety you might desire in oxygenated water. OGO will debut soon in the US, courtesy of Verve Brands, LLC.

We've been following various threads around the SingleServeCoffee forums that these t-sacs from Germany are the bees knees when it comes to creating your own coffee pod sacs. Coffee pod sacs you say? Yep. Apparently you can fill these little numbers with the coffee of your choice, and then insert them with said coffee into the basket of your Bunn My Cafe and other single serve coffee makers.
We'll try out the t-sacs over the next few weeks and let you know what machines they'll work in and which ones they won't.

We're always on the lookout for a good way to make sure our water is clear and clean before we make a cup of coffee especially when travelling. SteriPEN, a device that claims to use UV light to clean drinking water of "bacteria, viruses and protozoa is said to purify 16 oz of clean drinking water with a quick stir. "Dirty, discoloured" water should apparently be given a pass altogether, but to be honest, we don't really have a problem with murky water or the desire to use it to make coffee unless there's no other option. :-)
The SteriPEN runs on 4AA batteries, and is available from Magellan's in the UK for £149.00.
