The My Café Pod Carousel is designed for use with the Bunn My Cafe MC Model coffee pod and tea brewer in mind, and this coffee pod carousel will organize and display 36 of your favorite coffee and tea pods with it's spinning action. The stylish chrome construction looks great on any countertop (we have pictures to prove it below.) If you aren't using a carousel with your coffee and tea pods then you're missing out on being able to peruse your coffee and tea collection prior to brewing which for us is the most fun part of our single serve coffee morning.
Our coffee pod carousel from Bunn.
At My Café Pod Carousel and thanks to Bunn for sending us to keep things organized.
We recently posted about the One All Reusable Filter System that works very much like the My K-Cup reusable filter. These 2 single-serve reusable coffee filters are for replacing worn-out originals will work in the One All reusable single-serve coffee-filter system or Keurig-brand My K-Cup filter. We also like the idea of having more than one of the inserts that goes into the My K-Cup so you can make multiple cups of single serve coffee without washing out filters after each use right away. They feature a fine mesh made of surgical-grade stainless steel, and both the One All and the My K-Cup is an eco-friendly alternative to disposable filters.
Medelco's One All resusable single serve coffee filter system fits all Keurig machines utilizing K-Cup technology. The filter is like the My K-Cup, Solofill, and EZ-Cup filter systems allowing you to use any type of coffee with your single serve coffeemaker. The mesh is made from surgical-grade stainless steel so no peeling or flaking ever. We've never seen this filter before Alan sent in the tip, and we'll see if we can get one to review soon here at Single Serve Coffee.
There's a product out in France called Ne-Cap that make the impossible possible - you can make your own Nespresso capsules and use any coffee you want.
The capsule is used in 4 easy steps...
Fill capsule with your preferred espresso coffee or tea leaves
Remove the protective label on the adhesive seal
Stick on the foil label
Pop in any Nespresso machine and enjoy.
According to the site, the cost per capsule is 0.10 Euros (Approx. 0.14 cents USD) and each capsule can hold about 5 grams of coffee. No word on how many capsules are in a box but the site says they're available at "fine coffee retailers across France" and online at various French coffee product sites.
There are even accessories for the Ne-cap as well...
We've had several readers write in that Perfect Pod (allows you to create your own coffee pods), and EZ-Cup (allows you to use any coffee you want in a Keurig brewer combined with using the EZ-Cup filter papers) are now at Bed Bath & Beyond. We've had some readers write in from the West Coast and some from the East Coast so it seems the product will be widely available at most BB&Beyond stores.
The EZ-Cup Filters are used in the EZ-Cup to hold the coffee of your choice.
Please read our full reviews of the Perfect Pod and EZ-Cup to get a better idea of how these products work.
We really like this space saving two-tier carousel that holds up to 18 Keurig K-Cups. It features a black powder-coat finish, and looks great on any counter-top. The Lazy-Susan style base rotates for easy access of your favorite K-Cup coffees, and no the K-cups are not included but you can add your own in minutes.
Gizmodo has a really interesting take on whether the devices plugged into your computer aren't perfect for hackers that switch them out locally. We're pretty sure this would be difficult to do with our precious USB Coffee-Cup warmer (we know the coffee stains on it intimately), but you never know. What's the problem? The problem stems from a shortcoming in the way the Universal Serial Bus (USB) works. This allows almost all USB-connected devices, such as mice and printers, to be turned into tools for data theft, says a team that has exploited the flaw.
With two frothing and 1 heating disk plus three temperature settings this frother from Capresso is the perfect counterpart to your single serve coffee maker. It features auto shut-off, and the large capacity frother has a scratch resistant, ceramic coated pitcher with a stay cool handle and see through lid. We love having a frother to make a latte or cappuccino, and think you'll enjoy some hot milk on these cold winter nights to put you to sleep as well.
The staff over at Geek.com have a rather extensive review of the Coava Cofee Disk filter for Aeropress (you can read our review of the Aeropress here). Coava Coffee metal filter remove the need for the use of paper filters, and also give you a more french pressed cup of single serve coffee from the Aeropress.
The Coava Coffee Disk was designed to fit perfectly in the place of Aeropress' normal paper filters. The brew process is the same but you'll want to adjust your grind to compensate for the new filter. Check out their full review at Geek.com.
