Finally Amazon.com is carrying the Krups Home Cafe and not just through a Zshops merchant. I believe other readers have found this for as little as $99 from other online merchants, but I like Amazon.com's return policy and no tax plus free shipping.
The Krups KP1010 Home Cafe Brewing Machine is compatible with most coffee pods and also utilizes the Cappuccino coffee pods available from Folgers.

We've just received the new Krups KP1010 Home Cafe Pod Brewer for review. We're anxious to fire up the new Krups machine, and it looks like a there has been some improvements over the old Home Cafe line. The Krups Home Cafe Coffee Pod Brewer is available at Amazon.com and other online stores. We've yet to see the new Krups Home Cafe Pod Brewer in department stores, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Looks like the new Krups Home Cafe Coffee Pod Brewer is available at Amazon.com. It's priced at $130 and available from a ZShops seller. The price seems in line with expectations it would be more in the Keurig B50 price range. We will be receiving the Krups Home Cafe Coffee Pod Brewer to review soon and should have a run down on how it's changed from earlier Home Cafe offerings.

More on the new Home Cafe Coffee Pod brewer from Krups coming this fall. Also - this is a killer run down of the current state of the single serve set of brewers available.
CBS News | Java Nirvana In Your Kitchen | March 21, 2005 13:00:03:
Coffee Giant Krups is introducing a brand new pod machine called the Krups Home Cafe, at the Housewares trade show in Chicago. Gregg offered a sneak peek with a single-cup coffee brewer that uses pressure-brewing technology. Specially designed Millstone coffee pods can brew either one or two cups of coffee at a time. This model also allows consumers to customize the amount and flavor of their coffee by setting the system for a 6 oz. or 9 oz. cup of coffee or even up to a full 18 oz. travel mug. The cups can even be of different flavors, thanks to two independent pod holders. Retails for $150.

The Krups Home Café system will offer unique features including dual-cup capacity, several cup-size options and a built-in water filtration system. The Krups Home Café model can brew either one or two cups of coffee at a time, and with two independent pod holders, each cup can be a different variety of creamy or black coffee.
The original Home Café machines have received mixed reviews from us and from Single Serve Coffee readers (we reviewed the Mr. Coffee Home Café and the Black & Decker Home Café machines). I'm hoping that many of the issues with the first Home Café macines have been fixed, and so far - it looks like many have.
We should receive a review machine in the mid-late June time frame, and will let you know when this new single serve coffee machine arrives.

When Home Café launched earlier this year, we did a review on the machine and thought the overall quality of the Black & Decker version might be offset with the “specialty pod holder” and what pods would work in it might forgive the lack of quality of the machine. Well - read on to see whether this feature redeems the machine and the coffee you can currently buy for it.
The Home Cafe Specialty Pods
The Home Café Specialty Pod holder does in fact fit the newly released cappuccino pods from Folgers. The pods are nearly 4 times the size as a typical 62mm pod, and contain quite a few more calories as well. Each Cappuccino pod is 170 calories per cup and 9 grams of fat. So - if you are on a diet - you might want to stick with black coffee, but in its defense, this isn't a whole lot of calories for a 7oz cup of coffee with cream and sugar.

I have received them. Expect my full review very soon of both the Mr. Coffee Home Cafe and also the Cappuccino Pods.

Wow. It's been Home Café news as of late, but you have to hand it to P&G, Black&Decker, and Mr. Coffee-they are pulling out all the stops to make Home Café a success. Currently they have the biggest variety of pod flavors for coffee, and now they are launching a red Home Café! We can't wait to get our eyes on this machine and it's nice to know that like the red Melitta we reviewed earlier & the red Senseo in Europe, maybe all the single serve coffee machines will come in red someday!
