Starbucks Coffee Vanilla and Caramel K-Cups

Starbucksvanillacaramel

AB has spotted some new K-Cup offerings at Target from Starbucks. Starbucks is offering Vanilla and Caramel K-Cups for Keurig K-Cup Brewers and they'll set you back $12.00 for 16 cups. We've seen Dunkin' Donuts also offer a Caramel flavored K-Cup, and we're not sure what to expect except sweetness. We have sampled the Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream and thought it was okay, but not something we would want as a daily drinker.

Now you can with Urnex CleanCup.  The CleanCup is a simple way to clean and leave your brewer ready for your next beverage, and ensure the oily residue will be removed from the exit spout. How does it work?

  1. Place CleanCup™ into brewer.
  2. Brew largest cup size twice.

We'll be getting some of the CleanCups to review soon. They are currently $7.99 for 5.

Seattle's Best Coffee Medium & Balanced and Smooth Roasted K-Cups Review

Seattlesbestkcups med light

Thanks to AB from Maine we were able to get our hands on Seattle's Best Coffee K-Cups currently being served at Subway. We got to try both the level 1 - Smooth Roasted and the Level 3 - Medium and Balanced Seattle's Best Coffee K-Cups. These K-Cups are Keurig Brewed and licensed for use with any K-Cup Brewer. Both K-Cups were quite good with the Medium and Balanced being the clear winner for us more bold coffee drinkers.

Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll K-Cups

Cinnabonkcups

Keurig announced it will be bringing Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll K-Cups to Keurig K-Cup Brewers this fall. This K-Cup pack is inspired by the company's world-famous, "hot out-of-the-oven" cinnamon rolls so expect the decadent flavors of Cinnabon: cinnamon, brown sugar, and, of course, the legendary frosting. Cinnabon K-Cup packs will launch on www.Keurig.com during the 2013 holiday season. Why are we feeling so hungry?

Peet's Coffee Single Cups Now at Walmart

Peetssinglecups jul13

AB has found while traveling back to Maine that Wal-Mart in New Hampshire is carrying Peet’s Coffee in K-Cups. We are a little surprised that Walmart is carrying such a premium brand as Peet's, but Walmart continues to support non-licensed K-Cups and Peet's would be a great catch for them.

Peet's Coffee at Walmart in single cups include:

  • Major Dickason’s Blend
  • House Blend
  • House Blend Decaf
  • French Roast
  • Café. Domingo

Seattle's Best Coffee K-Cups Spotted at Subway

Seattlesbestcoffeeupdate

We've gotten another unique sighting of Seattle's Best Coffee K-Cups spotted in the wild today from AB:

"I went to lunch today with my wife and son at Subway in Carmel Maine. Subway is now offering Keurig Brewed coffee for $1.68 per cup. While there, I noticed that, they offered Seattle’s Best Coffee in K-Cups. They had in stock: Level 1 – Smooth Roast Level 3 – Medium & Balanced After checking SBC’s website I was unable to locate these. I do not know what else they offer or the price."

He then posted on their Facebook page and asked where he could buy their K-Cups. This is their response:

“Seattle's Best Coffee Hi Andrew - Thanks for asking! K-Cups are in the works but we don’t have details just yet. Stay tuned to our Facebook page – we’ll make sure that our fans are among the first to know when we have more information.”

So what did AB buy from Subway? We're thinking they're doing sampling of the K-Cups across various stores and other locations. In the days when Starbucks and Seattle's Best was on the Tassimo Brewer platform, they did all the experimenting with Seattle's Best and then Starbucks came to Tassimo. This time it looks like Seattle's Best is coming later and going to be the more commercial coffee brand. The K-Cups pictured above also have the Keurig brewed label so they must be official Seattle's Best K-Cups.

Hell's Kitchen K-Cups

Hellskitchenkcups

Not much is know about the Hell's Kitchen K-Cups, but it looks like Fox is putting a package of Hell's Kitchen K-Cups in a promotional bundle sent out to TV reviewers. The show Hell's Kitchen is one of our favorite, and the Hell's Kitchen better live up to Chef Ramsey's expectations. We're not sure if these K-Cups will ever be available outside of the promotional bundle, but we'd love to try them even if we had to travel to Hell and back.

Update:

They offer:

  • Hell's Roast - Dark roast Rich, smoky and fiery
  • Executive Chef's Blend - Dark roast Deep and flavorful
  • Three Star Blend - Medium roast Bold and smooth

On their website, they offer a two pack of ground coffee for $17.98. No mention of Hell's Kitchen K-cups.

However they do offer the following K-cups:

French Roast, Hazelnut, Mexican High Grown, French Vanilla, Peruvian, Sea Salt Carmel, Rainforest Blend, Chocolate Morsel, Breakfast Blend, and Full City Roast.

They come 10 to a box and use a recyclable filter. I could not find a price for ordering the kcups. It appears they are only available for retailers.

Snapple Raspberry Iced Tea K-Cups Review

ReviewsnappleraspberryicedteakcupsIMGP5480

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and so, we finish our Snapple K-Cup review series today with their Snapple Raspberry Iced Tea K-Cups. We really enjoyed the other 2 flavors in the line-up but this particular flavor caught us off guard as Keurig & Snapple kept it a secret right up until launch date. We can't recall hearing anything about a 3rd flavor in the Snapple K-Cup series, so imagine our surprise when we saw 3 listings pop up on Keurig's site instead of 2.

The ingredients are much the same again with green & black tea leaves/extracts being present along with natural flavors plus the combination of sugar & aspartame. As we noted in our last 2 Snapple K-Cup reviews, aspartame is being used as an artificial sweetener here and thus it brings about a warning for people who are sensitive to phenylalanine (one of aspartame's ingredients) and more importantly, we'd like to warn people who have a genetic condition known as PKU since consuming phenylalanine can cause severe side effects for them. This essential amino acid doesn't pose any risk to people who don't have this condition or who aren't allergic to phenylalanine. We know there's only a small percentage of people who have this condition, but we owe it to them to post some form of advisory anyway just in case they happen to miss the warnings on the labeling/packaging.

Snapple Peach Iced Tea K-Cups Review

ReviewsnapplepeachicedteakcupsIMGP5479

We continue our Snapple K-Cup reviews today with their Snapple Peach Iced Tea K-Cups. We quite enjoyed the results from their lemon flavor and thought it was a pretty good substitute for the bottled ready to drink version, so we're anxious to see if this peach flavor will be more of the same.

The ingredients show that again, green & black tea leaves/extracts are being used here along with natural flavors plus the combination of sugar & aspartame. As we noted in our last Snapple K-Cup review, these are the first K-Cups we've seen that use aspartame as an artificial sweetener and thus it brings about a warning for people who are sensitive tophenylalanine (one of aspartame's ingredients) and more importantly, we'd like to warn people who have a genetic condition known as PKU since consuming phenylalanine can cause severe side effects for them.
