Keurig has a new unique marketing program aimed at colleges - custom labeled Keurig Minis with custom college logos. If you love your school and you love coffee, Keurig’s K10 MINI Plus college brewers combine the best of everything you enjoy.
How does it work? You can purchase the K10 MINI Plus brewer and get your college decal set for FREE. Already have a MINI Plus? You can purchase the college decal separately. Either way, it's easy. You simply select a school and add a brewer and decal to cart to purchase bundle or click the links on the pages to purchase the decal separately. We’re not sure how many of these are in the wild of college dorms, but we may be getting a decal set for our alma mater soon.
Schools currently include:
- University of Arizona
- University of Arkansas
- University of Florida
- University of Georgia
- University of Miami
- University of Mississippi

Last year, we reviewed a K-Cup that had the most ridiculously long name we've seen to date and at that time, we only had 1 flavor to review. Since then, Green Mountain Coffee has supplied us with the 2nd flavor in the line-up which is what we're checking out today. These K-Cups also have a ridiculously long name, so we'll simply refer to them as "Sweet & Creamy Nutty Hazelnut Iced Coffee K-Cups" for the remainder of this review. Most Brew Over Ice K-Cups recommend 6oz or 8oz settings but as with the 1st flavor, this one used actual real ground coffee beans, so we figured we'd use the larger 8oz setting to fill our iced beverage tumbler.

We had the pleasure to attend the launch of the first Keurig single serve coffee boutique last night in Burlington, MA. The Keurig Store features all of the Keurig single serve coffee offerings - Keurig K-Cups, Keurig VUE Packs, and the Keurig RIVO espresso system. There's a section in the store dedicated to each.
Our impression of the store is that it's a Nespresso Boutique level design with the lighting and flair of a great Apple store. You will simply be amazing at how many products Keurig has to offer and the selection of coffee and tea and other hot drinks is vast. If you were on the fence about single serve coffee you won't be after visiting the store.
At the opening event we also got to talk with various members of the Keurig team from marketing, to R&D, to sales and consumer packaging. There was an entire area which showed all of the various Keurig prototypes over the years. Many questions were asked about Keurig 2.0 - coming in the next year or so with few answers.
It's amazing to us that in the 10 years we've been blogging (coming up next May) about single serve coffee, that in the end Keurig would reach retail with it's own store. Pictures after the bump with our thoughts and impressions on the store and event.

It's nice to see even more local offerings in the single cup format for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, and now we have word Stephens has a Mint Truffle Single Cup that has our mouth watering. Stephens Mint Truffle Hot Cocoa Single Cups are smooth and buttery with a hint of mint and truffle for your K-Cup brewer.
At my local QFC, I picked these up today. They had them on sale for 9.99. Haven't had a chance to try them yet but it's good to see another hot cocoa offering.
We've yet to try anything at a QFC in single cup format, but we expect they're pretty good given truffle is in the name.

McDonalds have entered into a partnership with Kraft & will start testing retail sales of whole bean, ground and K-Cup varieties of their McCafé coffee next year in US supermarkets. Canadians can currently buy whole bean versions of the McCafé coffee at local McDonalds locations, so this evolution and tested strategy should be welcomed by US customers. We've never been a huge fan of McCafe coffee, but given the McDonald's brand we think regardless of the quality of the coffee McDonald's and Kraft are going to have some success.

Rich, creamy, buttery--this caramel coffee has everything you could want in a cup of giddyup.
We like how this coffee compares to other Folgers Gourmet Selection K-Cups like our earlier review of their Mocha Swirl K-Cups
. It's definitely buttery and delicious. These K-Cups are also Keurig Brewed making them a perfect fit for your K-Cup brewer.

AB spotted at a local Tim Horton's T-Discs and K-Cups in store. Tim Horton's is now carrying both and they had K-Cups Regular Decaf $8.99 for a box of 14, and Tassimo Regular Decaf Latte $10.99 for a pack of 10. Both the Tassimo and Keurig single serve coffees are non-flavored coffees. We're hoping over time they do start to carry the full line of various coffees in single serve coffee formats.
Have you tried the Tim Horton's T-Discs or K-Cups? Let us know your thoughts in the comments or check out the Single Serve Coffee Forums and start a discussion.

Green Mountain has announced two new special reserve coffees for your Keurig K-Cup Brewer - Jamaica Blue Mountain and Kona blends. Both are here for only a limited time, and both coffees will are available direct from Green Mountain. These coffees are not cheap at $32.99 for a box of 16, but we expect they are well worth it.
- Special Reserve Jamaica Blue Mountain - This complex coffee presents a cup of well-rounded contrasts. You’ll find rich notes of chocolate, cherry, and plum, while hints of melon, lemon, and lime also shine through. The body is heavy with a silky, smooth finish.
- Special Reserve 100% Kona - This cheerfully bright, but delicate coffee expresses dry, Chardonnay-like notes while presenting refreshing hints of tropical fruit, tart green apple, and dried citrus. The aroma is pleasantly floral with an almond sweetness.

We come to an end of our Martinson Real Cup review series today with the last flavor in their current line-up… Martinson French Roast Real Cups. We really enjoyed their Dark Roast Real Cups so much so that they earned a perfect score. Will lightning strike twice or will it be a one-time only experience?

We come to the end of our Marley Coffee Real Cup series with what is likely the most anticipated flavor to ever hit the Real Cup format and a flavor which many K-Cup fans thought they’d NEVER see - Marley Coffee Talkin Blues Coffee, 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain, Single Serve RealCup for Keurig K-cup Brewers. People asked, begged and demanded that Keurig & Green Mountain release this flavor but such never came to pass and people were starting to give up hope. Just what was this much sought-after flavor? Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Billed as one of the World’s finest coffee varietals it has even been considered to surpass the ever-popular Kona coffee in taste & quality (although we’re sure that could be debatable).
