The Keurig Mini Plus Personal single serve coffee brewer has all the features of a larger Keurig brewer packed into a mini form. In 2008 we saw the launch of the Keurig Mini B30 (read our full review here), and we were impressed, but even with a mini brewer there were some features missing.
One feature missing was the ability to know exactly how much water you were using. There was one other complaint too - the brew temp seemed a bit cooler than we would like with at the brew head temp lower than the 190F range. Well, that's all been fixed with the Keurig Mini Plus Personal brewer, and the brewer look and feel is much improved as well.

It's no surprise we've had a B155 Small to Medium office brewer for over a month here at Single Serve Coffee (and it just got replaced by a Keurig Mini Plus which we'll review this week too). We have to say a 90oz reservoir, and the touchscreen LCD display are things every single serve coffee drinker would love, and we really love this brewer not just for a home office but also for any home.
Take that K-cup! How about some 198F water?
The brewer footprint is also not as big as you would imagine, and yes unlike any home brewer you can crank the temperature up to 198 degrees F instead of a home brewer's limit of 192F. Other than that - it's a very well designed good looking brewer. Because of the LCD touch screen - you will also see various pictures flash by like coffee plantations etc. as it brews.
Not as big s you'd think.

We've had several reader write ins that they've seen the Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System in their local Target. We were under the impression the Tassimo T45 model would have a longer shelf life, but it looks like the Tassmio T20 will now take over the price point at $99. Reader impressions are the quality of the machine is not the same as the Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System, and the new cup stand is a bit flimsy. We'll have to get a Tassimo T20 ourselves and do a review soon.
- Comes in White and Black
- 1.5 litre tank which should mean that you don't need to refill constantly
- Water is only heated on demand and the Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System goes into stand-by mode when not in use.
- As well as coffee, cappuccino, espresso and macchiato drinks from Carte Noir, Kenco, Seattle's Best, and Starbucks the Tassimo Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System can also make Milka hot chocolate, Starbucks House Blend and Twinings English Breakfast Tea.
- The main parts of the T20 can be taken apart and put in the dishwasher.

The Cuisinart SS700 Single Serve Coffee Brewing System is the first Cuisinart coffee brewer to use K-Cups for making tea, hot chocolate, and of course coffee. The Cuisinart SS700 Single Serve Coffee Brewing System features a very large 80 oz water reservoir, iced and regular coffee brewing settings, along with storage of a My K-Cup resusable coffee filter. It also features a very fresh yet angular Cuisinart industrial design, along with a very easy to read blue LCD display. We've been looking forward to more options in K-Cup brewers, and it's really nice to have a brewer from a major brand like Cuisinart.
Update: The Cuisinart Keurig Single-Cup Brewer SS-700 and SS-780 is available direct at Green Mountain Coffee and is also under the model number SS-780. The SS-780 will come with a selection of K-Cups but the brewer is the same.

We've been using the Cuisinart SS700 Single Serve K-Cup Brewer over the past week, and we thought we'd share some unboxing pictures and of course our first impressions.
- The Reservoir is huge - almost a 1/3 larger than the standard B70 Keurig water reservoir
- The My K-Cup storage on the side is novel - but we are missing the coffee scoop spoon that comes with the Breville - we like not having to find a scoop to add the coffee
- The controls are nice and the display icons are a bit clearer - showing the ounces in the silhouette of the cup icon
- It's very quiet so that's nice the Quiet Brew technology is throughout all the Keurig models now
- The metal outer coating wipes up easily and is very solid - but it also feels really industrial

You get the brewer, sample K-Cups, charcoal filter, and instructions.

This brewer comes with a charcoal water filter, and has a My K-Cup reusable filter stored away in the side of the brewer. The Cuisinart SS700 Single Serve Brewing System is compatible with all K-Cups including the coffee, tea, and hot cocoa K-Cups. Pricing is set at $199.99.
