We've received the European version of the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto to review here at Single Serve Coffee. We'll receive the US version of the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto soon as well. Just looking at the pictures of the US version compared to the European version, it looks like the location of the power switch is in front and towards the middle of the water reservoir on the US Dolce Gusto - a nice improvement. We'll note the differences as we find out more, and for now - we're going to sit back and make a Caffé Lungo or two with our NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto, or perhaps even an iced Cappuccino. NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto single serve coffee, espresso, and hot beverage maker details are below.

The Keurig Mini B30 will come in white, black, and red.
Keurig recently introduced the Keurig B130 commercial hotel and office coffee brewer, and we were disappointed it would not be available for consumers to purchase. We are disappointed no longer, as Keurig has revealed the Keurig Mini B30 designed for home and commercial use. The Keurig Mini B30 is very much like the Keurig B130, but it comes in red, black, and white colored casings, and also is My K Cup compatible.

We received a red Keurig Mini B30 - can you say hot!
Besides having the smallest footprint of all the Keurig brewers, the Keurig Mini B30 single serve coffee maker is also very quiet. And yes - it's compatible with all K Cup coffees, teas, and other hot beverages including hot cocoa. So are there any issues? Is this brewer priced at $79 for everyone, or should one purchase a larger Keurig brewer?

The Bosch designed Tassimo in the wilds of a British kitchen.
My god...it's full of espresso drinks...
Most days we wish we lived in Europe just to sample the single serve coffee makers like the Bosch Tassimo that debut there instead of launching in the US first. If we were British, we'd take lots of cool pictures of our new Bosch Tassimo, and then post them on Flicker all while watching reruns of Doctor Who.
Check out the full set of pictures here, and US launch details can be found here.
Thanks to SH for pointing this out and for Flickr user HappyCheeseCake for letting us use the picture.

Wowser.
That's all we know for now, and we're pretty excited for this little single serve coffee wonder to join the ranks of the larger Keurig Elite B40 Brewer, Keurig B50, Keurig Special Edition Ultra Elite B60, Keurig B70 Brewer, and the Breville BKC600XL Gourmet Single Cup Brewer.

The whisper quiet Keurig Platinum B70 with
Quiet Brew Technology and an Iced Coffee setting.
Keurig is updating the Keurig Platinum B70 with two new features this August - Quiet Brew Technology and an Iced Coffee setting. We recently visited Keurig, and found these two new features to be really what the Single Serve Coffee doctor had ordered.

Update: Brew over Iced Coffee K-Cups and Brew Over Iced Tea K-Cups are available for summer, and we're pretty excited they came with enough time to order them for the upcoming hot weather. Green Mountain Coffee Nantucket Blend and French Vanilla Iced Coffee in K-Cups are both available in this format. Both K-Cups are based on the popular hot versions of their namesakes, but are specially blended to provide full flavor when brewed into a cup of ice.
For iced tea lovers, two new Celestial Seasonings Perfect Iced Teas are debuting: Half and Half (part black tea, part lemonade) and Southern Sweet Tea. These new K-Cups join the four Perfect Iced Tea varieties introduced last summer: Sweet Lemon Black Tea, Sweet Peach Black Tea, Sweet Raspberry Black Tea and Black Tea Unsweetened.

We love our current Keurig Platinum B70, but the end of the brew cycle was very loud. Now the pump that made all that noise has been redesigned, and the resulting brew cycle is whisper quiet. The Quiet Brew Technology will only be featured on the B70 this Fall.

The Keurig Mini B30 single serve coffee brewer. It comes in
red and white as well.
Keurig, Incorporated has a new addition to its consumer brewer product line - the Mini B30 brewer. We announced last week we had heard rumblings of this new mini brewer for $79, and those rumblings are true. The Mini B30 is basically the Keurig B130 (which we love) for the consumer market.
The Mini B30 brewer is the introduction of a new platform for the Keurig at-home brewing systems. The Mini is a smaller size meaning you can enjoy Keurig brewing at your desk, in your boat, at your vacation home, in your dorm room or just about anywhere. Since there is no water reservoir in the Mini, it takes 3 minutes to heat the water and brew the perfect cup of gourmet coffee, tea or hot cocoa. Just pour in 8 oz of water each time you want to brew. The Mini B30 is the first Keurig brewer available in multiple colors. Retailers will offer the black or white Mini, and the Keurig website will include a vibrant red color.
The Keurig Mini B30 in red and white.
All Keurig brewers use Keurig's patented K-Cup portion packs. K-Cups are "mini-brewers" that eliminate the hassle of grinding beans, measuring coffee, handling filters and messy clean-up while brewing a gourmet cup of coffee or tea in less than one minute. With over 200 different coffee, tea and hot cocoa varieties from 13 gourmet partners, Keurig meets the diverse taste profiles of just about every single serve hot beverage drinker.
You can read our earlier article on the Keurig Mini B30 here. In the mean time if you can't wait to buy a mini, and need your Keurig K Cup coffee fix, you can always get one of their currently available brewers including the Keurig Elite B40 Brewer, Keurig B50, Keurig Special Edition Ultra Elite B60, Keurig B70 Brewer, and the Breville BKC600XL Gourmet Single Cup Brewer.
