Senseo $20 Rebate for Holiday Shopping

Picture 1If you really want to buy a Senseo for your loved one (and we suggest we do) - Phillips is offering a $20 dollar rebate on their $70 dollar machine - roughly making it $50 or less at most online stores. In our opinion - that's a total steal.

Imagine Christmas morning, you come down to the Christmas tree - and someone you love (and live with) gets a Senseo. Next for breakfast you will then get the most perfect cup of coffee ever. Do it. Buy the Senseo. You will not be sorry. OH! Imagine Senseo Single Serve Coffee with your New Years hangover....oooh!

Can you say beautiful? Wow. ANd supposedly improved? How do you impreove on Senseo? Well brushed aluminum is a start, and look at the controls? Very nice. Here's to hoping this comes out in the states as well.

Home Café Coming Soon in Red!!!

Wow. It's been Home Café news as of late, but you have to hand it to P&G, Black&Decker, and Mr. Coffee-they are pulling out all the stops to make Home Café a success. Currently they have the biggest variety of pod flavors for coffee, and now they are launching a red Home Café! We can't wait to get our eyes on this machine and it's nice to know that like the red Melitta we reviewed earlier & the red Senseo in Europe, maybe all the single serve coffee machines will come in red someday!

Extra Large Reservoir for Senseo Review

241377-L.jpg Okay - we'll admit it. There's not a great deal to review when it comes to an Extra Large Reservoir for any coffee maker, except the fact that this accessory makes sense. Buy it. If you own a Senseo and enjoy the coffee, I'm pretty sure by now you are tired of refilling it. The Extra Large Reservoir holds 10 cups of water, and fit the Senseo perfectly. I really can't think of anything else to add even water - because my reservoir is only half full after brewing 5 cups of delicious dark roast Senseo coffee.

Tassimo T-Discs Very Interesting

tassimo_small.jpgtassimo_tdiscs.jpgIt appears that many of the T-Discs for the Tassimo system from Kraft, will be found the dairy aisle of your local grocer. They will contain milk and other perishable items inside the T-Disc. Wow. This should make marketing them very interesting in US supermarkets - as there are no coffee products in the dairy aisle minus creamer.

"The ingenious TASSIMO Disc (T-DISC) is designed to work exclusively with the TASSIMO machine. Each T-DISC contains a precisely measured amount of coffee, tea, chocolate or concentrated milk, and is sealed to protect the precious flavors inside."

Double Serve Coffee? Cuisinart Two To Go

Maybe we should open a sister site? :-) Nah. This could be a killer travel mug idea if you used pods and not ground coffee. I can smell a new "single serve" double serve maker yet! cover

"The Cuisinart® Two to Go® brews directly into two travel mugs that hold 14 ounces of coffee each. The attractive black housing and high quality stainless steel mugs look great in any kitchen. Convenient, travel-ready mugs have tight fitting lids and are ergonomically designed for a comfortable, slip-free grip. They fit most car cup holders, and their extra-deep sipping wells prevents spills."

Review: Melitta One:One Coffee Pod Brewer

Review from Single Serve - Coffee Pod Reviewsredmelitta.jpgThe folks at Melitta sent us a red (we called it the Ferrari for the two weeks we tested it) One:One. I have to admit - even though my first single serve machine was a Senseo, the Melitta was in the US market before it.

Bodum Expresso Machine at Apartment Therapy

2004_7_bodumespresso2.jpgWe covered this earlier - but this new picture and shot really shows the beauty of this Bodum expresso maker.

"Sticker & caffeine shock. Espresso machines are never truly cheap, and this new one from Bodum doesn't buck the trend, but it does do a few things that others don't. First of all it is SMALLISH, second of all it is SHINY & CUTE, and third of all it has a REALLY COOL water system that is much easier than other machines to fill up (it fills up with a regular bottle of Evian or Poland Spring....). $499 at the Bodum Store (212.367.9125) or online.
