black_luk.jpg

Black Luk is a single serve coffee maker concept that is driving us and it up the wall. Black Luk requires a bit of wall plumbing, and then you're off to the single serve coffee races with everyone who wants a cup from your stuck on the wall coffee maker. Black Luk, a wall mounted coffee machine that dispenses a cuppa java at a time is sure to impress if it ever comes out.

You can save up to $67 bucks on the Dolce Gusto Genio Coffeemaker right now. The Dolce Gusto Genio Coffeemaker allows you to easily prepare a variety of hot and cold drinks with the single serve system, and it uses the Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee capsules. You can produce gourmet coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, iced drinks and more, and it even produces authentic espresso with crema using 15 bar pump pressure. You can also quickly customize beverage strength and preparation with the 7-level LED display controls, and no preheating is required with the special thermoblock heating system. There's even an energy-saving automatic stand-by mode after 5-minutes of inactivity.

We love this design, and we think it looks like a Tron Penguin. Whatever you decide, the savings and amount of drinks you can make with the Genio from Dolce Gusto is pretty amazing.

bosch-tassimo-t55-coffee-maker.jpg

There's a new Tassimo in town dubbed the Tassimo T55. Well - maybe not in a US town just yet, but they are launching this machine in Germany this Fall. The Tassimo T55 will use the T-Disc system which makes a perfect drink every time by using the Tassimo bar code scanner built into the T55.

Other features like the +/- button let you set the coffee strength to precisely match your taste. And the integrated BRITA filter in the water tank of this Bosch coffee maker ensures an enhanced quality of drink, while the transparent water tank allows you to see through the machine as if looking through an archway.

Review: Tassimo Professional T-300 Single Serve Coffee System

Review Single Serve Coffeetass-1.jpg

Not too long ago I reviewed four different espresso capsule systems. One system that was not included was the Tassimo, so here is a look at the Tassimo Professional T-300 Office machine.

If I was reviewing steam locomotives then this would be the "Allegany 2-6-6-6" of the series, the biggest, heaviest, hardest working one of them all. If you have a larger office then this machine should be near the top of your list.

As mentioned, it is a BIG machine, 16.5" tall, even deeper at nearly two feet, and 8" wide. This machine has a serious foot print and the size and weight of this machine also makes it exceptionally stable and quiet. Only the Lavazza came close to the size of this machine.

TRU Digital Single Serve Coffee Pod Brewer

51DXE336lsL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

The TRU Digital Single Serve Coffee Pod Brewer produces café quality gourmet coffee, and features a touch pad control system. Like it's ECO Brew cousin, the TRU Digital uses 1 or two coffee pods to deliver coffee or tea. The TRU Digital comes with 108 Supremo regular coffee pods.

The Ultimate Brew System uses a pump feature enabling it to extract the coffee extremely well from the pods unlike other pod brewers that simply boil and drip water through. The Unit has a slide-out POD chamber as well as a two-piece drip tray, along with a removable water tank. We like this design over the ECO Model only due to the removable water tank for easy refilling. However if ECO is your life, the TRU seems to not be as ECO friendly and you may just want to pay $50 for the ECO over $130ish for this model.
